How can I use Fastlane to shop online?

To check out with your Fastlane profile at a participating online store, you’ll simply:

  • Enter your email at the beginning of checkout
  • Type in the code we text you
  • Review your info and place your order

How does Fastlane keep my info secure?

Fastlane stores your info in secure databases. We also encrypt your confidential info when it's stored and transmitted. Your data can't be intercepted when you send it to us. With your most sensitive data, like credit card numbers, even our employees can only see the last 4 digits.

To further protect the security of your data, we don't disclose the location of our databases or details related to our security systems, algorithms, or encryption systems.

What info does Fastlane share with the places I shop?

Fastlane doesn’t share your full card number or CVV code with the places you shop. Stores will be able to see:

  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your shipping and billing addresses
  • Your card’s last four digits and expiration date
How many cards and addresses can I save with Fastlane?
You can save up to 8 cards, and unlimited shipping addresses.
Can I edit or erase info in my profile?
You can remove cards and addresses, or add new ones to your profile, by logging into Fastlane. You can't change existing card details or addresses in your profile just yet. To change card or address details, remove them and add them again.
How do I permanently close my Fastlane profile?

Log in to Fastlane and open the Profile settings section. Choose 'Close profile permanently' to confirm your choice. Or you can close your profile by going here..

Once closed, your profile can't be recovered, but you can create a new profile using the same email address.

Is my Fastlane profile the same as my PayPal account?

No, your Fastlane profile is separate from your PayPal account.


  • When you check out using a Fastlane profile, your saved cards and addresses are autofilled for you, without having to remember a password.
  • When you check out using a PayPal account, you’ll be eligible for benefits like Pay Later options, Purchase Protection, package tracking, and checking out with crypto or rewards.
How do I sign up for Fastlane?

You can create your Fastlane profile anytime at fastlane.paypal.com/fastlane/login. You can also save your info with Fastlane while checking out at a participating store.
